Waitress and waiters who call people guys

Don't disrupt threads on the main boards - get it all out of your system here. Think of it as 'playtime'.

Waitress and waiters who call people guys

Post by wmk168 » Sat Jul 19, 2014 4:00 pm

Is it just me or does it get on your nerves when the people who are serving you are constantly calling you guys. Please address us properly ie. sir or madam.
Just appears to be laziness ,and very American.
Only a small ***** but feel better now, thanks.

My mate was waited on by a one armed waiter.
Served him right.

He could take it but he couldn't dish it out.

I don't work in the " serving" industry but I use the term "guys" all the time at work, I think it a nice casual way of addressing a group. I've used it when talking to groups of mangers and directors.

So I'm curious Wayne, from now on would you like to be called Sir or Madam :) ;)
