Johny Maher has my engine on the dyno 170+ftlb at half throttle!! not bad see what figures it produces tomorrow :bounce:

more figures in:- the magic 200bhp reached :D now got 212ftlb @ 4300rpm it,s making over 200ftlb from below 3000rpm all the way to 5100rpm Johny reckons final figures tomorrow will be higher!! Been a long journey this but these figures are making up for that 8)

Thanks Jim how do those torque figures compare to your bus? any estimate as to what time quarters I might be looking at? i,m gutted I couldn,t make your rolling road session the other day I,ll be keeping a lookout for the next raceshack jolly :)

186bhp, 228ftlbs @4300

Depending on the weight of your van / gearbox / launches you make.... then 6.something 0-60 time. And into the 14's on the quarter mile.

201BHP and 212 ft/lb Torque where as good as it got! This was on 9 psi of boost Johny tried 10 psi and there was no real difference should make for a nice reliable long lived engine :D As a foot note Johny says of all the bus engines he,s built over the last few years none of them come close to these Torque figures 8) . Be interesting to see how fast it,ll push the Westie down the strip might hav eto take the roofracks of!!

Got a car down here making 527 so far on pump gas, no NOS yet. Race fuel next, and then then the NOS...
