OCD XIII, bad news..........
Re: OCD XIII, bad news..........
Thanks Buzz for a great time on our first OCD and ordering the good weather for the weekend.
Thanks to everyone who helped push the half mile to the garage, the support and advice, the loan of tools and everyone else for being so patient when we broke down. For anyone reading this who wasn't there, the external oil cooler had split which I managed bypass.
Got home OK. Lack of an external oil cooler didn't seem to cause any overheating problems on the way home.

Just to echo what everyone else has said, fantastic road trip.
Thanks Buzz and Maz for organising everything. Especially the surf lesson.
Just got home before midnight. We had five in the convoy on the way home, it was like an extra day on OCD.
And thanks to the bus for getting us there and back with just a dodgy indicator and sticking front brake.( jobs for tomorrow)

Great OCD - thanks Buzz and Maz
We loved every minute - well almost every minute. Turns out the retired Captain RN was well over 90 and has a DSM for destroying enemy submarines
. Clearly lost his navigation skills a long time back and maybe doesn't like German machines
Comical bits were "you had better shout - I don't have my hearing aid in" and " What is this? The Peasants Revolt?"
Great drives, great weather, great sites, great company !
Brian and Caroline
PS - HAPPY BIRTHDAY TODAY ALAN!! THAT'S TODAYMATE
Can someone in N Devon remind him..............................???
PPS - the bus made it back OK, unlike Caroline's Octavia (left at the first site) that destroyed its DMF 10 miles along the link road and had to be recovered back home

Re: OCD XIII, bad news..........
Superb as usual. The kids especially enjoyed in. Viola (2 years old) on the way back today asks: "Where are the other buses Dad?". That's my girl
Great effort from Bob (holding up traffic in Braunton irrespective of the traffic lights), JK for saving 30 spaces at Saunton Sands (irrespective of irate punters) and everyone's team spirit in dealing with the breakdown on the A361 (irrespective of everyone else)! And Buzz, of course! I'm looking forward to next year already.
