Cargo door floor edge trim, what have you got?

Post by Go Easy » Tue Jun 05, 2012 3:30 pm

My new floor is down and was hoping to find someone who sells a polished perhaps stainless steel edge trim to finish it off. For those of you guys who have spent big on their interiors what have you used as edging trim and where did you get it from?

Anyone have an idea to tidy up the leading edge of the cargo door opening ( the blue part in the pics above) mine is dented and tatty. Wouldn't think there's a lot of room for anything to go over it. Cheers

A strip of hardwood with countersunk screws. My flooring has an outer lip that this holds down

All depends how thick your floor is...
I used the division trim that vw fitted and Devon re.used...
My floor is 4mm 3 ply with Madmatz tiles...

Hi yes it covers the wooden edge and the lip where the door rods go in . Looks ace Nigel Isted has a pic ready for the Autocraft site.

Do we know the height of the lip on the Autocraft one - i.e what floor thickness it can accomodate ?
