Difference between pre 59 bullets and 60 > units?

Post by SBVW59Mango » Sat Oct 15, 2011 7:49 pm

Can anyone tell me the difference between a pre 60 bullet indicator unit and a 60> unit? I have just got some replacement panels so I can re-fit bullets to my 59 but the panels I have bought from custom and commercial are 60-63.

Cheers.

There is no difference, they were only fitted on European buses from '60, but were fitted in USA from '55, they are all the same.

Karmann Konnection have N.O.S. Bullet mounts at £10.00+ Vat each.

Hi... They are the bit that welds to the front panel... like a little turret.

There is a difference in the early and late bullet indicators. The old ones have screw terminals, the later ones have spade terminals.
