These boys know what they're doing, haver the equipment to do the job (the dyno is amazing) and have treated me really, really well going way beyond the call of duty.
I asked for a engine to be built and both the experience and the engine itself has exceeded my expectations in everyway.
If you are after any work whatsoever on your bus then these are the boys - they may not be the cheapest but quality doesn't come cheap and personally I tend to buy things based on John Ruskins famous quote;
"It's unwise to pay too much but it's unwise to pay too little.
When you pay too much you lose a little money, that is all.
When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything,
because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing you bought it to do.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot.
It can't be done.
If you deal with the lowest bidder, it's well to add something for the risk you run.
And if you do that, you will have enough to pay for something better!"
Wise words indeed...........
Also - if you're contemplating a rack conversion then again I say speak to the boys - I drove Gareth's bus yesterday and whilst it's insanely low it is the best driving bus I've ever been in - the steering is a revelation (and the Boxwagon brakes are awesome) - it's certainly on my "to-do" list now.
Sorry if this has become a bit long winded and no, I am not on commision, but I, like many others, have been let down by people who promise lots and deliver little so it makes a pleasant change for that to be the other way round and to receive more than you thought you'd get. Credit where's credits due.
Oh - and if you've never experienced 180+ bhp in a bus then please let me assure you it is barking mad and more addictive that crack - after the 150 mile drive home last night I was on such a high that I couldn't get to sleep for 3 hours and my face is killing me from the mental grin that seems to be etched onto it.
Cheers boys - you are the Dons
