dropped spindles and front disc conversions

Can anybody help me out with dropped spindles for my 56 i have a set that can be machined they are in very good condition king pins very good.

Also looking for complete front disc conversion can anyone point me in the right direction.

I think you can get a CSP disc kit for that year but you won't be able to run a 944 conversion.

I am sure others will confirm or correct this statement.

I have just had a new set of dropped spindles made for my 56 using 63 spindles which have the 64-67 stub axle and earlier and 20mm 55-63 link pins

These will then allow the 944 setup. I got my 944 brakes for £50 but then you do need the conversion kit for this.

Alternatively you could just buy the CSP kit which is not short of £800.

Or you could get intouch with Mark Hopley gingersbus on here he is doing willwood caliper and disc kit!!! :wink:
