It's the bit of the header that comes from the front exhaust port on the cylinder head, kinda bends round and under the valve cover, heading towards the back to join up with the rest of the header. It's basically the same shape as the pipe inside the heat exchanger.
Packed a few belongings and headed out to Pirates Cove. In my buddy’s old grey Kombi we rolled until the gas got low.....

As said before, they are a thing of beauty :D
I am currently running an Empi quiet pack, do you know how the TT compares with the noise level?

It's no louder than a quiet pack but it has a deeper sound, sounds lovely :D

P.S. Rich (Turbo Thomas) can make the muffler as loud or as quiet as you want. Proper bespoke service

I've had a TT zorst in the past and wasnt that impressed with it, welding, polishing, time scale and the tube lenghts weren't matched. I now run the speedshop s/s sidewinder one and its awesome. JMR supplied it complete with my engine so it was also dyno'd and the back box didnt restrict the enigine.

Just my 2p's worth.

Spoke to Speedshop this morning my exhaust should be with me tomorrow morning. Found them very helpful.

Infact Ive been dealing with suppliers through my work for over 20 years and the one thing that keeps surprising me is that with a very very few exceptions VW Parts shops and suppliers are the most friendly and helpful bunch of people I have ever dealt with.
