American pickers??

Watching this American pickers lark the other night and I hear the words. "Barndoor, lots of Windows and VW"
Tips up this guy is squirrelling away a 54, 23 window bus that doesn't look tooooo bad. In fact it looks quite an easy project.
Then the price! 30k ?? The American picker Mike says it too much and he'll offer 20k.

Anyone else cry when he walked away from the deal of the century??????

Mike did justify his decision due to the fact that he would then have to throw 60K at it (paying somebody to do the work) meaning he'd have 90K sunk into it. His usual game plan is to double his money, and quickly, so he doesn't get cash flow problems. This project wouldn't have met those requirements.

Fair point but as a "VW Guy" as he keeps going on about...... Surely that would have been a personal buy and not business, surely $80+30k would be a huge investment in today's market?
