New VW show! how much ???

Post by joannedoyle » Mon Oct 26, 2015 12:01 pm

I got an email from jazz events promoting a new show. Camper calling http://www.campercalling.com/tickets

No info on who is headlining this but the tickets are priced at
£89 adults
£25 teens
£10 children and
£10 bus pass!!
Total £225 for the family for the weekend.
There is a special offer on today to get a discount but still works out more than shows like camper jam. Bus fest etc.
Is it me or is this be scene tax going a bit too far now 8O
For double this price I can book Glastonbury for the family
Anybody booked this yet?

It's not just a blue car
It's a f@#*!ng dove blue VW.

I noticed that too this morning - nearly spat my coffee over the monitor when I saw £89 per adult!! Yeah right!!

Even with their 24hr one day only opening offer its the same price that CamperJam tickets are normally!

Good Luck - They'll need it!

They also do camperJam and campermart plus quite a few tattoo shows.

They asked us to trade there but again the cost of a pitch was insane.

Just bring some burgers for the bbq!

It's crazy, some of these shows need to grip on reality but I guess the"scene" isn't about split bus enthusiasts anymore.

Launch Day Pricing 26th October*
£89 £35 Adults 18+
£25 £10 Teens 12-17yo
£10 £5 Children 5-11yo
under 5's FREE
Vehicle Passes £10 each

Be interesting to see how much they are tomorrow, these are claimed to be "Today's prices are the cheapest you can buy them for.
We will be gradually increasing the price as more people join the calling.
The more people that join, the more entertainment and surprises we will be announcing.

One thing for sure is that the price you pay at any time will more than reflect the amount of enjoyment you will get from the weekend."

So they invest in entertainment based on how many tickets they sell ?

Yeah so if they sell a bunch of cheap tickets you'll get a Duran Duran tribute band,a half inflated bouncy castle and tesco savers lager served up in plastic cups....
