Robin and I arrived yesterday back in San Francisco after finishing up the Treffen at the Mexican border. So far we have driven around 2500 miles with not even the slightest issue with the bus. Most amazing road trip ever. Fantastic group of people. Hoping to go back next year. Have not sorted thru photos but here's one taken in the Humboldt Redwoods last week. After a few days here, I am heading down to the desert for part two of the trip.

I've been following this on the Facebook group. Excellent. Very jealous :-)

If it in any way possible that you could ever go on this trip, I would highly recommend it.

And so as it began, so it ends. Back in Seattle and back in the container. Flying back to Amsterdam tomorrow. Did nearly 7500 miles with no issues whatsoever even while cruising in 115 degree heat. Will post up fotos after sorting them when I get home.

Save some photos for the mag', it would be a great article series including the organisation needed to get your bus out there and back.

I had thought of that as well. I'll get in touch with the editor and see what he would think.

Packed a few belongings and headed out to Pirates Cove. In my buddy’s old grey Kombi we rolled until the gas got low.....

And so we are 3 years later and Robin (now 13!) and I are gearing for a return trip to the West Coast for the Airhead Treffen. I'm hoping organizing the trip will be easier this time. Got a message that there is some talk of a UK trip to the states and they had some questions about how to get it done. Please feel free to post any questions about a trip. Looking forward to hearing from you folks!

Wow, where did that time go. Are you going over this year?

I'm sure the magazine team would still love an article.

Yes time flies! Going over this July and back in September. Would love to write an article after the second go round. Hoping to pick up my 58' lowlight cab from the restorers in Oregon as well.
