CSP servo rust?
CSP servo rust?
Is this normal after 11 months use? I would not have expected this part to rust at all let alone this much after a few months?

Yep, its a chunk of cast ferrous metal, so after a bit of (any) exposure to mother nature it could go like this in a couple of months... its only surface rust, give it a sand down & clean and get some paint on it, job done.

Maddison, did you just fit it out of the box, or put anything on it to protect it?
I hammerited mine before fitting, but I have seen some with a clear coat on it, think it was an ATE one...

Mine's just like pic above. A coat of clear would have been a good idea at the time..

That's a master cylinder not a servo.

Was dying to say that, but couldn't, thanks..vwJim wrote:That's a master cylinder not a servo.
Yep, sand, then clear coat, that'll keep it looking nice for a while.
Stock is good, its just that low and fast is better!!
