Well looks like I will get round to painting the panel. I want to use it as advertising for our business and the fleet are all light blue similar to the light blue shown. The modern fleet has dark blue lettering but I plan to use mainly gold and black as we did in the 60's / 70's. The light blue stays and so do the red wheels for company recognition but apart from that I am undecided and as its to be used for advertising wanted to get a few others thoughts.

I think the 2nd is easiest on the eye, the light blue

My fave is the 2nd too but as its for advertising I wanted to gather a few thoughts.

Hmmm now i'm undecided. The light blue/white roof looks good..but so does all over light blue. Not keen on any with the dark blue myself.

How about as an alternative if you can create it is a light blue top and bottom with the beltline going down to the V front in white to keep the old white stripe theme?

Thats the best option if using dark blue

My choice would be no 2, you could always have the beltline painted white to match the white line round the trucks or have some subtle pistriping to accentuate the body lines.
