I stuck my hand up for the write up but I'm sure they be happy with more than one.
I'll send over all the photos.

Update on this those that saw Steve + Nige looking at Ed's gearbox related noise...

Gearbox bearing failure, so it was internal to the gearbox afterall.

Quick question about the technical weekends. I have been to them before at Eddie's when I was in the latebay club, just wondering if this is of a similar ilk ? in that there are experts at hand to give advice and help attendees "get jobs done" during the weekend ? I am looking at doing the dual master cylinder brake upgrade with vwjim parts at the next weekend as well as the below.

Also, does Eddie still have the lift up ramp to use and is it available during the weekend (or is it available anytime if just camping there ?)? one time I was there with my latebay, I waxoyled the whole underneath (15L) and would like to do the same on my splitty at the next tech weekend if possible. (last question, is there an air blower available to use ? I can't remember from previous weekends)

As always, thanks in advance for the appreciated replies.

Yes, there are presentations / discussions about specific topics and then time for jobs to be done on your own vehicles.

Owners have done gearbox oil, wheel bearings, exhausts, wiring issues, wax-oil etc etc in the past.

New lift up ramp (used at own risk), much better than previous one.
Air compressor was used last time.

The more people come to this the more gets done on each vehicle as everybody chips in to help.
