"Event, Meetings, Get-together, swap-meet" - it goes here unless it's one of the "Big Ones" that gets it's own forum.

Had a blast this weekend, thank you all for holding it. Great to see so many buses fixed and tinkered with. There's nothing quite like being able to see everone else's buses to help you fix and improve your own.
What a great club!

Yeah thanks Eddy for organising and everyone for helping me so much this weekend! Think special thanks to Nigel, Steve and John (hope I've got your names right) - really appreciate it! Great fun and feel like I learnt a lot too :D

Thanks to Eddy and everyone involved. Great spirit all weekend.

Even managed to get the new bus home without a tow truck thanks to the loan of the heat exchangers.

Need to know if Ed, (the new Website Co-ordinator), got home without the reoccurrence if the noise?
Unfortunately noise is just as loud, no change :( and....I'm pretty sure the bearing box is leaking gearbox oil...well it must be :o . Haven't had a chance this morning to check again but last night there was a good drip when I got home and the inner part of the wheel had some oil on it too. One the bright side though, the bearing definitely looked like it needed changing.

Will buy a gasket set and check the manual to fit - see if I can get the hub nut off myself and go from there. I think one big thing I got from this weekend though was confidence to do a bit more, even if I didn't do much (any?!) myself this weekend :D.

Gutted that all that work hasn't fixed your issue Edd, was worried you weren't going to get it put back together at one point!!

Absolutely cracking weekend though, thanks to everyone that was there and especially the organisers.

Keep us posted Edd,
I'm quite intrigued to what it will be.

I'd just like to add my thanks to Eddy, Steve, Nigel and the rest of the team for their time, the organisation and use of the facilities, and thanks to all who attended for the banter and making it a great weekend all round.
To those that are going, see you at BB.
Cheers,
Brent
