Used a similar way myself in the end nudged it in with a blunt ended knitting needle. (Not that I knit, I borrowed it off my mother!!!) All finished this afternoon. :) Still fighting with my roof lining though. Be nice just to have something on it before Saturday. Can't seem to get the curve ...

Worst job I have done on the van so far. Mind you I haven't had it long. Everyone I spoke to beforehand said the headlight seals were bad. Those cargos were much worse in my opinion. Lots of cutting in the end on mine and the doors still aren't right. I found the middle seal the worst and ended up c...

Does anyone have any pictures they can email me of what holds up the roof lining in a westy. (wooden roof lining) I believe it is some sort of bow. Not too sure, I don't know if there is a difference in the depth from in the body work to the surface but they are the same length, I had an oval beetle and the semaphores were the same size as on my 56 Bus.
Hope that helps a little.

Pop out seals.

I don't want to hog all the questions here but does anyone know what is the best way to replace the seals on a pop out window.
I normally follow the rule of removing an old bit of van and reversal of the procedure is the way to fit the new bit of van. Sadly there is no old seal to remove :!:

Westy interiors

I've bought an old well used WESTY interior which appears to have come out of a very damp van!! and I am using it as a pattern to make up a new interior. However I have found fitting is not as easy as I thought it would be. Therefore I have some questions if anyone can help me. 1 Will the roof cupbo...
