After market petrol gauges and senders

Hi, Any one using an aftermarket fuel gauge and universal sender, as in the Heritage brouchue? Im using a bay tank in a 63 bus and wondering how good and accurate they are, also does the sender depend on the type of tank, ie screw or baynet type?

Where in Bristol is he based? Company or going it alone? What sorta work oes he undertake? Know few vw places around Bristol but always useful to have another that is recommended Hes got an old oil covered bench in a council garage.. His only tools are a massive hammer and some old hacksaw blades.....

I have kept my eye on this thread and feel that I must reply, against my better judgement, as I'm sure someone will be along to tell me that I am wrong. :roll: If you dont like the shows, dont go, simples. I can understand a lot of the comments that have been made. I dont particularly like the show...

Well said Stephan. I stopped going to all VW shows last year. My last trip out was OCD. Using the bus for our own days out and Joe took it rounf Europe (5,000 miles). WhAt they should be used for and no hassle, no stupid entry fees, etc. I also won't be doing Breeze. I can't see why Splitties can't...
