nothing too special, bell housing, panel for the switches and oil pressure light, electric fuel pump and tank. Made out of bits I had laying around as wanted a fairly compact one. runs with engine on the floor as some of the engine stand ones id seen looked a little unstable. Plus it means I can do ...

Engine tester set up

I've finally finished building my engine tester setup and been great for checking and setting up the new engine for my bug cabrio I'm restoring.

4 pumps and started first time seems to idle smooth once warmed up and rev cleanly just need to take out for a run tomorrow . Thanks, for once a relativity easy fix

Struggling to start - running out of things to check

So, have a 1776, drla 36's jetted to suit, with accuspark electric ignition svda. Cb fuel pump and filter king filter/reg. Been struggling to start, battery fully charged and turns over fine just doesn't want to catch. Will do after 2/3 attempts i.e. about 5-6 seconds of constant turning over, worse...

Replacement Csp calipers

Ive got the CSP front disc kit for 14" wheels on the front of my 65 bus and need to replace the calipers. I believe the kit uses a MK2 Astra disc and caliper with a machined hub and face plate

Before doing this anyone upgraded the calipers from other Vauxhalls that have the same mounting hole sizes?

Glad it worked out for you, I hope to be back before it gets too cold. We've a mad weimeraner so again, blending in doesn't work too well. It's tight enough with our one, how do you manage with two?
