Re: Identifaction please ? unkown parts

Ok definitely a bulkhead model. The 'cubby hole' has had the edge batons and the door added - it was originally just a slot which engages with the back of the cooker unit which originally would have been where your easicool now is

Re: Identifaction please ? unkown parts

The woods look of different ages / differently restored between the seats (which would have been standard for a bulkhead model too) vs the cooker and rear easicool cover which would have been Spaceway specific. There's no way of saying for sure but if I was a betting man I'd say someone has swapped ...

Re: Identifaction please ? unkown parts

The divide and the horizontal catch are new ones on me. I suspect they are home modifications. The taps do come up although not very often these days - about one a year pops up on ebay. They are a Whale pump tap, I will keep my eyes peeled for you. On the naming front, Devon interiors were named by ...

Re: 1963 RHD Samba - update 2/6/12

It's a big day when the nose goes back on, I remember for me how much it felt like the destruction was over and we were making something again :)

Re: Identifaction please ? unkown parts

You could move the cooker and hang it on the front of the wardrobe / tall cupboard you can see in the picture above. There was another gas tap on the inside edge of that tall cupboard so the tap allowed you to disconnect the cooker from its door location and reconnect it once it was mounted on the c...

Re: 3 devon Awning rails ? Advice please

And are yo saying powder coat is best option for bringing them back up to nice standards ? There is some discussion amongst us nerds about whether they should be painted or left as bare aluminium. It is more likely to be the latter but may have varied by bus. I think Graham polished his; I have had...

Re: 3 devon Awning rails ? Advice please

That profile is the same as my 62 roof rail - the curved IC shaped one rather than the square [ shaped one Graham has.

It sounds like you have two roof rails so either one each side or you've acquired a spare at some point?

^^^ WHS is my understanding yes

I think the roof is usually more of a I( shaped profile and the sill below the doors is more of a [ shaped profile
