Do I have the wrong lights (my bus is US import) surely the housing is standard? PUSHED ACR...

Re: Wiring loom and doom!
mmmm What exactly are you pulling the loom through? I have fitted belly pans and Dave has fitted 20mm conduit/pipe (ID) not 20mm tube OD so loom should pass through... From recent experience of working with a M & E installation team of contract electricians they use a fish as shown on the link abov...

Update...
Taped together some bent out hangers, feeding through from the front and it seems to get stuck by the back wheel?

Wiring loom and doom!
Ok - before I damage some nice new paintwork am I fighting a loosing battle here? Will this taped up loom end actually fit through the chassis tunnel - is it to thick? It gets stuck about 2 foot in? (looks clean as I have re-taped with less tape - its a virgin!) http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb...

1/4 light rubber seal - am I doing this right?
I am fitting door frames together, all gone ok but wanted to check 1.4 light seal fitting. Using Volks West seals. Does the seal need trimming to size or should it fit exactly? http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb288/thestrings/IMG_1715_zps76cf1aa7.jpg Should I be fitting the 1/4 light frame at the...

Hi Steve - yes mine is the loaf shape so i am pretty sure its ...

Re: Wiper motor query... anyone with a late bus??
So is the beetle 12v wiper motor what everyone with 12v late buses are using? Putting the beetle wiper motor into the original housing?

Re: Wiper motor query
hi. i have a 66 RHD bus and the wiper mech looks like this but i have grafted a 12v motor from a bug onto mine. http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c83/aircoolsteve/01122009_zps7c4add56.jpg Cheers Steve - spoke to Mark P and we think 12v beetle wiper motors are what is required for late buses on a 12...
