Check your black/white and black/green wires and see if youre getting a reading, if not work your way backwards

Quarter light fibre washer

Silly little question, im putting new rivets in the top pivot point of the quarter lights, this rivet comes with a fibre washer. Does the fibre washer go between the 2 pieces of metal being riveted together to stop the paint rubbing or have I got this wrong?

Ok, so I have had 3 cylindrical senders in my 1958 bus and all have failed and never read correctly. Can i swap it out for a later sender with an arm or what are my options?
