Re: How to qualify into BWA

With up most respect Nigel :)

Ran a 16.13 at action.

Looking to now upgrade what I have through next year to do easy 15's and ultimately get in the 14's.

Discovery should be looking to make some new Vw shows. Long long over due.

Thanx NIgel

Re: Running in

Keep it under 3000 revs and vary your speed.

To bed the rings well, don't sit at the same speed on motorway etc. Driving on A roads should be great for this.

Re: Oil temperature sender help

I've got sunpro fuel, oil pressure & oil temp gauges and senders.

My temp sender is fitted in the blanking plate to the right of the the oil pump & works great.

Their are also 2 different length, of sender.

I've had this on a couple of studs on my engine.

Just put some RTV silicone under the washer as you mentioned.

Re: How to qualify into BWA

First chance will be bug jam then action. Had Jim Merrin round this evening who has suggested trying to get some runs in on the Friday at bug jam as it could be quieter. Will try and bump into Rikki on Friday to make people aware of the my bus. I had a good idea of what was required, just the need t...

How to qualify into BWA

Can someone explain how to qualify into BWA, apart from obviously being under 18 seconds.

Does a member need to watch you?

How does it work?

Hope to achieve entry this year, thanx in advance

Re: Shortened Brake Hoses Narrowed Beam

I run a 7" narrowed beam with braided brake lines. Made to length by a mate who builds race cars. 90 degree angle fitting onto the backing plate.

Been on 2 yrs with no probs

Cross bar linkage

Is there a cross bar linkage that can work with CB big beef manifolds?

Or is there some sort of adapter to use an exist cross bar linkage on 45 dels.

Thanx Brian
