I bought a second hand tuck up exhaust and then just cut off the tail pipe after the box . Cut that piece twice more to clear the chassis and bumper bracket to exit out under the battery tray. Got given a set of Kads before xmas, stripped em down & cleaned them up. Tapped them both for vacuum pipe & bought a csp leakage kit. Fitted with vacuum advance dizzy and electronic ignition (no flat spots) All fitted my std 1600tp now feels a lot more perky. Getting the carb linkage set, along with...

is your starter motor bush ok ???
changed mine a couple of month ago, it was shagged.

This will give you impression that the battery is flat as the starter armiture is fouling inside its casing due to shaft moving in worn bush

Surreysplit posted on my westy thread with pictures of a 67 & 68 fridge unit side by side with a view from the rear showing both tanks.

Litterly the best way to demonstrate the difference.

Hi all Can anyone advise whether a water tank from a 68westy can be fitted into my 67 unit.
