Re: Asda !

Quite surprised about that, wouldn't of thought they'd be like that. Do the post office do a service? I know they do for driving license, they take your pic and send the form all in one go

Re: Matt Smith's buses

Not a Facebook user myself but as I understand it you only need to put a price on the for sale adverts, offers are welcome doesn't break the rules. Not bad for a free advert that hits to the heart of the UK split market

Re: Hydraulic engine lid stay.

I got one for my 63 as the stay was missing but it was too powerful for the bracket on the engine lid and was bending it. I'm sure it would've worked fine if I got the bracket welded all around but didnt want to damage the paint so stuck to a bit of wood instead :)

Re: Advice on SELLING my first Split Screen?

Problem with the samba is I think you're limited to 9 pics which means you need to link another site to do your bus justice. Both ssvc and the samba are free to advertise, you can link a samba advert to a ssvc advert which can have as many pics as you want

Re: Advice on SELLING my first Split Screen?

Definitely on here and the samba and I wouldn't expect it to be for sale for more than 24hrs. You'll get a lot of interest from firstly Germany and also America. I felt a bit daunted by it at first but its not a big deal, if they pay up then all is good  As for payment, I'd never accept cash f...

Re: Speedo refurb problems

I've seen thorsten's work and its 2nd to none, it really is top notch and even with postage it was cheaper than UK companies. Def get the Speedo back and wait for thorsten. The one I saw done was turned around in under 2 weeks too
