Re: safaris. are they worth it?

No the final decision isnt made The side pop outs are painted, but now need to decide to go painted to match them, or go polished to fit with deluxe trim and vw logo ....... Ah, now thats a tuff decision to make. I was the opposite way round, had polished pop outs down the side but wanted painted s...

Re: Rolling Road recommendations

Not in Bournemouth I'm afraid, but I would say cost wise around the £100 mark depending how much work is required, i.e, correct size jets fitted etc.

Money well spent though if you get the required results.

I'm a big fan of the 123 dizzy's, been running one for a few years. :D

Re: safaris. are they worth it?

If you want safari's for the practical air flow reasons, then I would suggest trying these first on the air box...... http://www.autocrafteng.co.uk/shop/split-screen-van_60/interior-parts_28/air-box-parts_90/air-deflectors-stainless-steel-polished-typ-2-55-67_175/ When your safaris are closed you wi...

Re: Cargo Floor

They are OK for the money but it may be better to look at the Autocraft option also.

There are worse panels out there than the red HD ones, but there are also better ones, it all depends what your budget is and how you want the completed article to look and last.

Re: Velvet green & white/ off white or cream top

As far as I know it should be L87 pearl white with velvet green and blue white with Turkish green Not according to my original ID's on my May '65 van. (several shades of) Velvet Green / Blue White, my favourite colour combo for a later split. http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e9/Choc1/Bus/20...

Re: What colour floor then guys?

Get yourself down one of these carpet warehouse places for a browse and a few samples. Non-slip kitchen Vinyl off the roll is cheap and can take the wear, and helps when stepping in off a wet field. http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e9/Choc1/Bus/2012%20Bodywork/Bodywork%202013-14/IMG_1198_zps94a8897...

Hi matey, long time no see, but glad you are back!! Yeah theres enough room to get your feet on comfortably, even my size 12's fit nicely. Think the piccy makes it look closer than it really is, plus they are 'behind' the column so its quite different to the usual placement. Ive put the throttle pe...
