Fuel gauge wiring

Hi Folks

Just a quicky.

Does the ground wire required need to be connected to the small stub centrally mounted?

Image

Advice appreciated as always.

Fault Fuel Gauge

Hi Folks

I've got a fault fuel gauge and need to open it to see what the issue may be?

Can't get the bezel and rear steel housing apart, do they come apart?

Cheers

Stock exhaust onto 1600

Hi folks

I'm looking to remove my sports exhaust from my split, it has stock 1600 engine, and put on an original twin pipe exhaust system.

Just need to check which exhaust would be suitable, if any?

Cheers

Where can I source these clips?

Does anyone know where I could purchase these clips that are used on the linkage for my twin carbs. These are suitable for securing a 10mm shaft. http://i1174.photobucket.com/albums/r617/vortex-baits/20140427_174545_zps91cc2987.jpg http://i1174.photobucket.com/albums/r617/vortex-baits/20140427_17453...

Single or twin carbs

I have a set of Kadron carbs on my bus and wondered if people had refurbished these with the kits available from Machine 7. If so how successful was the refurbishment? I've also been considering the option of going to a traditional single carb set up. Would there be a significant drop in performance...

Re: Stolen From Nottingham 1966 Splitscreen bus RHD deluxe

Really feel for you, I'm informing as many people in the Notts area as I can. If you get spottings and you want to confirm they're not me then let me know. People may mistake my bus for yours, TFO 895 9 window with an unpainted roof. I'll PM you my phone number if you need to know where my bus has b...

Rough running engine

My 1600 bus has run like a dream for some 3 - 4000 miles now. Then a couple of weeks ago it run very weak and feels as if it is on 3 or even 2 cylinders. All of a sudden it then ran great again for 2 days and has now returned to running rough and weak. I get back firing and popping when dropping rev...

Can anyone identify this starter motor

This came off my straight axle converted bus but when I sourced a replacement it won't fit. Can anyone identify this starter motor so I can source a replacement. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v676/pdlakrit/IMG_3713.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v676/pdlakrit/IMG_3715.jpg http://img.photo...

Re: 944 Master Brake Cylinder

No Paulf

Type 3 drums on the rear and drums on the front.

Does this make a big difference to the effectiveness of the master cylinder?

Re: 944 Master Brake Cylinder

I've tried bleeding the system down with an Eezibleed and the old 2 man way. Neither method seem to get the correct pressure or braking effect. I've bleed from the rear and then the front. I can only assume that I have air in the system or master cylinder. Can someone confirm that I have the connect...
