Re: interior light switch?

On mine (I assume this is correct for all) the steering column's toggle switch is a master switch - switches power on to all the interior lights. Then each light has its own switch. Handy when trying to reverse and the kids have all the interior lights on in the back and you can't see anything! Mark

Ah, that's how my seat bases should look! Where did you get the ribbed rubber (!) sheet from? Mark. ebay. but you can buy them precut for LHD buses. I think C&C do them, but they're made by Wolsburgwest. Actually, they should be a little different to how I did them. The seperating trim should dip d...

Re: New garage/workshop project for the Zombi Kombi!

Looks very similar to my garage mood board! In the end I went with a slightly more rustic look with oak waney edge cladding and cedar shingles. Shingles are easy to cut (just a knife), light weight and smell lovely as you work! The doors are now a matching silver grey. http://www.knowledgebroker.co....

If it's just the idea of laying tiles you don't like but you still like the tile effect then Madmatz do a vinyl roll with them:

Re: my rear devon / dormobile inspired roof rack

Looking good - when I looked at doing something similar I was concerned about clearance when the tailgate is opened - especiallly with the clamps on. How much clearance do you have?

Re: Winter tyres…

Sorry I wasn't clearer, if I could have fitted 195/80 R15 then yes, you are right, not available in Contis. I would have thought a 4x4 tyre will be ok on a bus; 195/80R15 is the size for the 1st shape Freelander, I think my local tyre place let me try a Goodyear Wrangler All-Weather tyre for sizing ...
