Re: Ignition power loss

Did it cut out while driving?
Loose connection on the ignition or maybe light switch?
I would go through all the connections on the fuse box, ignition switch and light switch first.

Re: what sort of splitty to buy?

You will get lots of different opinions but as said before everyone likes talking about their bus. If you want to do all the changes and money isn't a big object why not buy one already done to what you want? Getting all the mods done will be more expensive I think. Re: Camper Calling

I think we booked an area already (which my wife did). If I am correct it is the family area where it should be not so manic and is probably furthest away from the stages, etc. Looking forward to it. Let's see if it is as commercial as a lot of the bigger VW festivals. Might see you tomorrow at VF. ...

Camper Calling

Any SSVC camping area at Camper Calling, the August Bank Holiday weekend?
Never been to this one but the music looks good.

Re: Local VW Clubs for Local People...

Tomorrow is the usual meet again near Oxford.
Depending on the weather we might drive to The 6 Bells in Warborough from the Bowyer Arms, Radley.
There is a classic car meet where you can park on the green in front of a very nice pub.

Re: 1/4 light - sliding window locks

If you have lost one I can just make you one lock instead of a pair for £7.50 incl. postage within the UK.

£569.24 all in  8O
That's a lot of money for a window which opens which probably isn't open much in the UK.
I rather buy a heater to extend the camping season.
But everyone for their own. I think they do look cool though. 8)
Hope they won't ever leak.
