Re: Do i need a hole in my fuel cap?

Thanks for the replies. I'll investigate the bay tank breather - notceasybti get at but the engine has a bad oil leak, as does the gearbox so the engine needs to come out which will help no doubt. Failing that I can drill a hole although in my case the lock is in the middle so it will need to be off...

Re: Do i need a hole in my fuel cap?

Agreed, I put one in my cap as I have no breather pipe. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk How/where do you put a hole in you cap safely? I have 1776 with dual kadrons and have a vacuum inside the tank every time I take the fuel cap off. It is a bay tank with vintage aftermarket locking cap. Cheers...

Re: Meakin Glamour crockery

I'm pretty sure I've sent them to you a Graham - have you collected the trim pieces from Rich yet? Maybe I sent them that way. I do have some more of the blue meakin plates and bowls in the cupboard. I've never seen the mugs despite years of searching...

Re: steering lock...how does it work

Good luck finding them! I'm hoping someone might chime in with the original technical bulletin assuming the instructions are different for the second generation locks? Mine arrived today but my wife intercepted it from the postman so I'm not allowed it until Xmas

Re: steering lock...how does it work

Thanks Graham. I have the later type somewhere in the post on its way to me and wanted the instructions for locating the holes and lugs on the steering column to get those in the right place. The Z5 technical bulletin shows this for the early locks - I assume there is a similar one for later locks. ...

Re: steering lock...how does it work

It was an option which could be fitted (I believe as a dealer fitted option) There are several on thesamba.com for sale which are period. Most seem broken at the moment. They were fitted for your year and you could get an authentic period item but expect to pay around $400 at the prices I have seen...

I'll keep my eyes peeled for one - the back is completely different to what I was expecting and that particular example is a little too bling for your bus if you don't mind me saying...
