Re: club code

Sorry Carole, ignore my first pm, I wrote it before I saw this. As far as I'm aware we haven't had the new code through from Busfest yet, usually the code from the year before will work until the new one is set up. I'll send you that code, can you let us know if it works please?

This is still up for grabs, pity it's on a Friday at a time of year when nobody has any holidays left.

Split needed for Practical Classics photoshoot

Myself and Steve Hall have received the following email this morning.... Good morning gents, I hope you’re both well. I'm getting in touch as I’m setting up a photoshoot for a feature to celebrate 70 years of the legendary Volkswagen Type 2, so I'm on the lookout for some suitable vehicles. The idea...

International Campervan Show April 25-26 2020

We have been offered a limited number of free weekend passes for any Split taking part in a Classics display at the International Campervan Show to be held at Stratford upon Avon Racecourse on 25-26 April 2020. I have spoken with the organisers today and they tell me we will camp in the display area...

Julian's '63 RHD Devon Caravette ***SOLD***

I have been asked by the family of Julian Collinge if the SSVC can assist in the sale of his much loved and admired 63 Devon Caravette. Please take the time to read this thread so you understand the circumstances of the sale. https://www.ssvc.org.uk/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=123842 From there you wi...

If you search on the technical section for 'steering' then search those results for 'adjustment' you should f...

Re: Side glass

I always cut the old rubbers out with a Stanley knife. Put the blade in parallel to the glass from the outside and split the rubber in two.

Re: WW Wheel arches, urgent query!

Panel quality can vary enormously. Not always primered as a lot come in what looks like black nail varnish... it's not but I can't think of a better way to describe it.

Re: Threads deleted without explanation

I am more than happy to explain the situation and I am in the process of speaking with all parties involved either in person or on the phone. In a nutshell I was contacted today by a member who had already sought legal advice regarding a thread which he felt was slanderous to both him and his busine...
