Re: RHD PGSG - px trade early rhd or pop top

Your bus looks gorgeous! I think I’d ban the kids altogether if I owned that 😂

If anyone is interested drop me a PM - I’m open to cash either way :compress:

MPG

As I don’t have a fuel gauge and was panic filling at every opportunity on the way to Spa I thought I’d calculate what I was getting. The engine is a 1776 on twin 40 Weber’s, Engle 100 cam and bugpack exhaust (hopefully soon to be vintage volkshaus but that’s another story  ). The engine is aro...

Deal! I’d straight roll a Samba though Jim, no messing around with one of those! We can all dream (although I have got some spare cash right now....😉😂).

Re: RHD PGSG

Thanks Mate, very kind of you to say!

After last weekend I’ve decided I still can’t shake the pop top idea. With this in mind I’d be open to a px/trade with an early rhd or pop top bus - something I could fit a Dormobile to which wouldn’t be sacrilege

Try me

There’s a pretty cool vinyl cover pictured on here but they’re not cheap!

Re: Fan shroud with heater outlets

Any suggestions on where or what to look at Jim? They’re twin 40 Weber’s - it’s the set up from the oil monster 1641 that gave you so many headaches at the start of the year :blackeye: I’ve sourced the OG exchangers etc, and have been advised the new fan shrouds with ‘straight out’ heater outlets do...

Fan shroud with heater outlets

I’m in the process of collecting the parts to reinstate heating on my bus.

It’s a 1776 with twin carbs. I’m looking for the fan shroud and tinware, and I’m lead to believe OG flows best? Will be powder coated so looking for a solid OG one if possible?

Thanks

Scott

Re: ***SSVC display at Stoner Park***

Hi Rikki, we will be coming and would love to join the club line up please 👍 Daft question, but do we just buy advanced gate tickets and tell them on the gate that we are in the club ? It doesn’t look like there are special club tickets..... Cheers, Phil. 😀 https://www.ssvc.org.uk/phpbb/viewtopic.p...

On a different note...VeeWee aka GSF’s new Heat Exchangers are spot on with correct internal fins and work very well producing really good heat :D
How do these measure up to originals? I’m looking for some at the moment but woefully unimpressed with those available to buy new!
