Ade, Looking good. I'll try and have a word with you about all this at the weekend but just out of interest when you are making your own repair sections have you just got a sheet of metal and some snips of some sort? Also I'm wondering how you bend it neatly in to shape or should I say I am worried ...

Some great pictures and a fantastic job. I have to say Neo, goatboy and yourself have provided me with much inspiration over the last couple of weeks with the pictures you have posted as I have been increasingly worried that the splitty I spent loads of money on (rushed purchase I admit!!!) was in s...
Ade, I've seen the pics from Alan also and think they would be great for folks to see on a website. Is your website up and running, if so whats the address (no doubt I'll spot it after typing this?)!!! Some good questions there particularly the square box section one as I was wondering that. I just ...
More confident of that now than I was on Sunday when the bottom fell out me world!!  I'll keep an eye out for the pics then and will look forward to seeing the results. I'm afraid I won't be going anywhere in mine for a while so your pics will help me to see how things should be done and...
Ade,
Any chance you can take some pics through each stage and email them across to me at TheInkPot@Hotmail.com
I'd be really interested to see how you get on with it. Are you taking this bus to Techenders (Re JK site) as I'll get to see it in the flesh then?
Cheers
RD

Sorry as your posts always seem like they ask the questions I need answered except I am about 2 weeks behind where you alwasy are and then I end up adding to your post!! I have a similar situation to this with my bus so is a whole floor replacement better than cutting out small sections and replacin...

Oil for Reduction boxes
I have just drained my gearbox oil and am about to do the same for the reduction boxes. I understand that the oil from the gearbox feeds the reduction boxes but I presume I should put oil in to the reduction boxes and then into the gearbox. My main question is do you fill the reduction boxes until i...

What can I say but thanks again folks. It's always nice to know there is help at hand where you haven't got a darn clue what you are doing or talking about!!!! I'll be visiting GSF with a few quid in my pocket then. Just out of interest why weren't you so keen on the aluminium air hose/pipe an...

Ade thanks for that but I knew I'd point people in the direction of the wrong piece. The one I mean is the one dirctly above the No 45 itself (which doesn't seem to have a number but it's like a bit of the tinware!) I think I have figured out that it seems to attach to a piece of pipe from the under...

Sorry to jump in but can anyone identify what the part above the No 45 is called and where does it go? I mean the tube shaped thing as I was taking my exhaust off last night and hadn't seen this part and it fell off so I then couln't figure out where it came from and where it was attached!!! Sorry I...
Not sure if this is correct as I haven't had time to check it out yet but I picked up some of the bay window pipes which go from the heat exchangers at DubFreeze and asked if they would be suitable. The chap told me that beetle ones were the sort i was after but that depended upon some small section...

wilgartw that's well impressive. I am trying to decide if should follow your example or save a whole heap of time sandblasting. I guess if you do it yourself by hand you know exactly what has been done and there is no chance of the disaster mentioned in the above posts. Did you use nitromors as I no...
