Just out of interest my van has an alternator fitted and I got a replacement belt ready and thought I would fit it but there is no way I can stretch it enough to fit correctly, do you need one longer than the norm for those with an alternator upgrade?

Cheers

I think mine were under £1000 but the overall bill did come in close to that but I had quite a bit of other stuff done as well as it was it's first UK MOT and I needed it doing so I could register it but I would have said about £700-£800 was the charge including machining and labour for the king and...

mmmm I hope yours isn't too bad but when mine needed new King Pins the garage had to get a machine shop involved as they weren't so easy to come by. Link pins aren't so bad I don't think. In the end it cost me a fortune but the steering is now spot on and should last another 40 years if looked after...

From what I know (which isn't much I admit) it would have been polite to approach you and ask you if it was ok to use (and hence you could have agreed so long as they gave you a copy or something) however the copyright for the image is owned by the person who takes the picture. Hence, it could be th...

Could only think of POR15 but this may do the trick although it looks like you would need loads to do the underside of a bus and I'm not sure what protection it would give - probably better than nothing though!

May need to check/replace the flexible hoses as I understand that over time the fluid running through the inside means they deteriorate so not enough fluid can get through and thus not push the brakes out as they should, hence it then pulls to one side. Can't say as I have experience of this and the...
