Re: Dellorto jet sizes

No.....DRLA's should have whatever vents, jets etc suit the application. There is no 'should have' You haven't said what size engine or what size idle jets you have. With a 30 vent 122 mains should be ok and 58-60 idle jets....for a mild engine. Pump jets are prob 33 if still factory...usuall...

Re: Dellorto jet sizes

Yes if you take off the air filter and filter base and look down into one of the chokes you should be able to see the Venturi...it narrows the choke so it's that bit you're looking for. Shine a torch down the choke and hopefully you should be able to see a small number on one side of the Venturi. If...

Re: Dellorto jet sizes

You need to know what size Venturis you've got to determine what size jets are needed. If you can see what size vents (not easy when carbs are fitted in a bus)then if you tell me the engine spec I'll let you know what size idles and mains are needed.

Re: Dellorto jet sizes

What size engine is it ? Most buses pulling a caravan will slow going up hill. A lot of buses towing nothing at all will slow uphill. You'd need a good strong 2ltr + engine to not be affected towing up hill and even then...... Check none of your exhaust gaskets are blowing...could well explain errat...

Re: Language used on Facebook

Happy the way I am thanks and I don't need to collect so called 'friends' to reassure myself I'm liked. And with the recent more sinister side to FB....ill keep my info and myself to myself. I have no problem with others using FB...happy for them... but the thread was about the language used....I do...

Re: Can’t adjust my front beam

If you've got it on the jack....with the wheels on VERY GENTLY lower the bus into the wheels and keep going so as to use the weight of the bus to get it freed up. Obviously it's going to be too low when it moves but hopefull will have freed up enough to then go the other way. If it's still stuck get...

Re: Language used on Facebook

Some good valid points being made... As already said..I'm a dinosaur when it comes to IT stuff but I would have thought theres a way to block abusive users. I like the idea of needing a forum account to join the FB group. I think the club probably loses out on revenue from club membership fees too b...

Re: Language used on Facebook

We must be able to think of a way of getting most people back to the forum. I use facebook, but only because it seems a little quiet over here now. I think the forum is quiet now because of FB. I know Eddie (club president) is keen to get the forum back to how it was. It would help if people rememb...
