Re: New BWA Record!!

I would like to come over but it seems to be too expensive... Maybe some year.

Roll cage only in the cabin, no tubes in rear.

Re: New BWA Record!!

Yes, the engine has been started but not tested yet. I still need different oil pump to run with vacuum pump, Autocraft "stage and a half" is on the way from US.

As I am quite interested in other quick bus set ups, please gimme some info re yours!

Re: can a 1700 do sub 18s ?

I am the one who raced with Jim...
My mouse motor is a 1776 with appx 155 hp, weight of the bus with me is 1050 kg, you can see the 15,22 in the video section on this site.
Race tranny but no slicks.
So it is possible but some true power is needed.

Re: Jules has been busy :-)

Thank you Jules for stepping up for BWA! This is simply great to have the site up and running! I have finally received all the parts ordered last fall, so now it is "only" hard work to get the engine back together with new barrels, pistons, valves, vacuum pump set up etc. Then on to a dyno, not roll...

Can we set up a ranking here before the members list will be updated?

Hi Jim! I tried to e-mail you after Mantorp but now I know why you did not reply... Mantorp was a little rainy and I made only three runs with the best ET 15.823 @ 132.768 kph. After the run I noted that the left side intake manifold was loose so that is why the top speed was so low. The engine bogg...
