Sold. Moto Lita 15" steering wheel + Polished boss

Beautiful wood rimmed Moto Lita steering wheel, 15". Comes with polished boss to fit to a split-screen bus (bought for my 1966), and both black and polished horn buttons. Fitting instructions included. There are a couple of things I need to mention - a 3mm chip in the varnish on the outside of the r...

12v power sockets

Hello everyone. Does anyone know where I can buy 12v leisure / power sockets that actually look ok? I'm not into hiding them away as that makes access tricky and my interior isnt stock anyway. But all I can find are ones with plastic rims, often with horrid green light rim. Surely somewhere out ther...

Re: Fridge help, what are options?

I bought one of these earlier this year - http://www.waecofridges.co.uk/freezer/cdf18.htm We spent 4 weeks touring Europe in 30-50 Celsius in July/August, this fridge was absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend them. I went with this smaller one as it fits in the walkthro area of my van, also fits ...

Re: Stacked batteries

Interesting thread. I've been mulling over the idea of having an LPG tank in one rear corner (think this will run a cooker?), should be easy enough to pipe into interior, filling up at petrol stations would be a big plus, and I think/hope should be able to get a tank made to fit the corner pretty w...

vintage speed exhaust gasket replacements

Hi. I have a vintage speed exhaust fitted - "42mm Header & Standard Tail Pipe Super Flow Muffler 2.3, BUS". Can anyone tell us if the gaskets used are equivalent to any stock parts? We're away in Europe at the moment (without my spare gasket set unfortunately) and specifically need to replace the 2-...

Re: Charging leisure batteries from mains hook up?

No-one charges their battery when hooked up to mains at a campsite? I think a unit like the ZIG X70 is probably the cheapest option - http://www.thecaravanshop.co.uk/charging-systems/zig-chargers/zig-x70-12-5amp/prod_204.html Hello. I do, only one leisure battery though. I have a unit similar to th...

Hi there, just read your thread right through, having been alerted to it by some great pics on ssvc facebook page. Fantastic effort gone on here, and all in such a small working space, respect! Maybe one day you'll think about selling this, and if the price is right, I may well be knocking on your d...

Re: Headlight relay operation question

Thank you Peter. The relay is a later style / modern replacement unit and the cable coming from headlight switch (56?) is warm to the touch where it connects to the relay, when the headlight switch is on, is that normal? We'll not have a chance to check as you've said for a few weeks, but living wit...

Re: Trouble On Test Drive

What fuel tank outlet are you using? Hi Jim, Completely stock (90 degree bend with the jonny filter in the tank) Why ??? What are your thoughts on needing an electric fuel pump ??? Phil. :D If its an early tank outlet, the hole will be too small for a larger engine's fuel requirement. Cheers, Jim
