Re: Twin Carb Linkage

Hello Simon. I know Jims spoken to you, but just to make sure - I'm 100% interested in this, and would really like to be top of your list when you get these sorted please :D Jenni, Don't worry - I'm aware. :) I made the updates to the bracket design today; will check a print tomorrow, and then star...

Re: Twin Carb Linkage

Made good progress on this last week, and got to printed a prototype which just needs a couple of minor changes.

Re: Complete novice looking for performance lump pointers

Blatant plug, but I have an unassembled Raby engine kit up for sale in the classifieds that meets your performance and price requirements, ready to be put together, with all the hard work done by the Maestro himself. A 2270cc Type 4 good for 165 bhp. I'm selling it unassembled as then the purchaser ...

Re: Anyone played with fly-by-wire accel' mechanisms?

A sheathed cable throttle wheel linkage would solve the thermal expansion issue... How's that work? Sounds interesting? A sheathed cable takes up any expansion as the sheath length between the two throttle bodies remains constant (as sheath is slightly longer than the actual distance and doesn't su...

Re: Anyone played with fly-by-wire accel' mechanisms?

The E46 m3 has a nice standalone throttle actuator - though it is rather large. I have one I bought on eBay (together with a BMW e pedal) with the intention of looking at putting together an h bridge circuit and some software to drive it. Haven't got to it yet... A sheathed cable throttle wheel link...

Re: 2276 EFI map

I run a 2270 Type4 with Jenvey ITBs and DTA ECU on my Chesil. I'm using TPS for load with MAP correction so my fuel map won't be much use unless your ECU enables you to do the same (and you want to do so). Gave up on using MAP as primary load very quickly due to ITBs... I tuned this without a rollin...

**SOLD** 1964 11-window LHD camper

We're regretfully selling our 1964 11-window 1964 LHD camper. We've done much work to the mechanicals in our ownership (new front beam, disc brakes all round, dual circuit, servo, new shocks, Creative R&P, new continental tyres) and interior (new wooden devon style interior, retrim, Waeco 30 Litre c...

I think you mean 60mph for dual carriage ways (rather than 70 for a car)
