steering box

I have posted this one a few times, seems to be a pretty common problem.
I had mine reconned at Baz's Bugs 'n'Buses in Brixham 01803 850444
Did a good job. I know a few people have used him and have'nt heard of anyone who has had a bad job yet. cost me £100.

Cheers for the tips. Maybe its not so straight forward after all, i thought it was a 5 min job!
I think i will steer clear of the drilling and go for the puller/press idea. The drilling sounds like a pain in the arse.
Thanks,
Neil.

Wing Mirror Problem

Im sure this should be really straight forward but: I have just bought some new elephant ear mirrors for my van which come with chrome arms, the problem is I cant get the arms out from the door hinge. Im going to Florida in June to see some family so im getting some bits delivered there and then bringing them back. If you are only after a couple of bits i could bring them back for you to save the shipping.

For the effect it had on my van ie getting back on the road and through its mot and not meandering all over the road £100 seemed pretty reasonable ...but then i was getting pretty desperate! I had already had it "rebuilt" once for about the same cost and that made bugger all difference.

So does it get rid of the "im driving a boat" effect ie bobbing up down all over the place? or is that just .... suspension on my van!

and presumably it improves suspension? Im just thinking it might stop the bruising on the top of my head caused by repeatedly bouncing it off the ceiling!
