Hi Does anyone one know how many amps these radios need. It's a standard 12 v with no additional amp unit on it. Ok, understood, would it matter if I left the bottom piece off ?
Vents into fresh air as I can see.or I ,m guessing it brings it clear on the cylinder

Hi I am fitting a doghouse fan shroud for 1600 twin port. (1965 split screens) On the back there are two extra pieces to close off the oil cooler. Not yet, getting to that on Saturday. There's a twin port dog house housing on eBay will clean up. no flaps . Will my flap mechanism fit onto this. (I have the non doghouse single port housing)

Hi ther, that's a great website, many thanks. My single port 1600 has the old. NOn doghouse fan with thermostat and flaps.,ran ok. Went for a top end rebuild when it spat a couple of plugs so went for a 1600 twin port. Would the old fan housing be enough? After all the only significant change is sin...

Hi,
I am converting from 1600 single port 1600 to twin port and have bought the twin port fan housing. As this does not have flaps ( internal flow veins apparently) how does it operate. Do I need the thermostat- if so what does it hook up to

Sorry typo above. You get one two piece ring per cylinder that slots into no 2 groove. That's it. No 1 and no 3 groove remain empty
