Re: Cab doors

You could try oacdp.org . Lots of parts books on there, but unsure if it's any help for a fleet line. Pete

Re: Heater Ducting

Someone was selling this piece (I’m sure) on eBay the other week. Otherwise I think evam classic sell the individual parts. I bought the full kit you’ve seen...metal seems thinner, but at the time couldn’t source second hand.

What type of castrol grease question?

Just started to re-build my front beam following a full strip down. I’ve bought two types of grease - castrol high melting point and castrol lithium moly (heavy duty )grease. Would I be ok using the high temp stuff for the front wheel bearings and the lithium moly for the front beam, king pins etc? ...

Re: 55-67 refurbed dropped or stock spindles - also Brazilians!

Hi Gill. I’ve got a stock set from a 65 that I would like refurbed too. Would you mind sending me a pm too with prices? Also, thought I’d ask, I’ve got a second spare set that I’m planning to sell when my first set is refurbed...would you know what the going rate for a second hand set is? Thanks Pete

Re: Mobile axle stands?

I couldnt use the front beam to jack the front up as the axle stand gets in the way...so I ended up jacking up the front using one of the chassis beams. I think it was the same at the back...I wanted to rest the stand on the torsion tubes, so I jacked up on the chassis rail towards the back. Call me...

Re: Mobile axle stands?

I bought two of these last month - one for front and rear axle so we can push the van round the garage. They can raise the van up quite high. I did have concerns over the stated weight capacity....the wheels are cast iron and I worry they can’t take the 903kg per stand...but my van is a stripped she...

Re: Degrease / clean front beam question.

You know, you’re probably right. The grease was looking ok, and the leaves looked brand new. Might just wipe them down, pump some new grease through to flush out some of the old and then start the rebuild.

Degrease / clean front beam question.

I took my front beam off and stripped it down today - the original plan being to rebuild from scratch using a new beam I’d purchased. However, the old beam was in remarkabky good condition so change on plan to use the old/original one. (It looks as though th previous owner put in new bushes/bearings...

Creative (CE) deluxe waistline trim for LHD 65

As per title. Not in any great rush, but if you’ve got a kit hanging around that you don’t need anymore would be interested in buying - ideally with blue infil. Thanks. Pete
