The first picture of a linkage connector has a rubber core and can deteriorate and cause problems!!

Shift rod coupler (it is made of rubber inside and mine failed and I could not get reverse!!)

Imagethis can cause gear problems when it fails,its located just in front of the gearbox.

Hi! My bus is 1964 and was 6volt but I put a 12 volt armature it ( 6 volt motor on a 12 volt bus ,wipers just move too fast)

The end of the cable is square and fits in the centre of the bearing cover in the centre of the wheel it has to be a good fit or the cable will not turn smoothly !!
