Gear Selection problem 66 split

Hi all, Slight problem with the selection of gears in a 66 split. The gear stick in my bus, as common I dare say with a lot of splits, is like stirring porridge but thankfully its not so bad. I can live with that. however, my question is, when selecting 2nd gear, it will grind. However, when I pull ...

Re: Shipping from UK to USA advice please

Thanks. Yes have suggested this, but the earliest he can get to me is mid March owing to work commitments. And I have someone else willing to pay the asking price so if I waited until march, and all fell through, I would have lost the buyer. Unless I took a deposit?

Re: Brighton Breeze thank you!

A big thank you to all involved with this years Brighton Breeze, it takes an exorbitant amount of effort to have such a show run as flawless as it has every year thus far. I will in part however, agree with the above comment RE being so far out of the "main" show ( which is the first entrance of Mad...

Towbar advice- Whats best?

Hi all, I have an so42, at stock height with stock exhaust set up. I want to get a towbar fitted, but one that's removable. Do you guys have any recommendations of where I may be able to source one? I understand that Autocraft do them, but are their ones specifically designed for lowered buses runni...

Advice- what interior does this table belong too

Hi all, I picked up a westy interior quite sometime ago and been in garage, haven't really had the chance to go right through it yet. Anyway, yesterday I had a chance to have a look, and I noticed a table that does not belong to the so42 interior- I'm sure it is from a split interior but not a clue ...

Re: Earlyish Beetle (sorry) knowledge advice needed

Unfortunately not, that's all I managed to get before my battery died !! I know it's original as they come and certainly wouldnt have been tampered with to make look older. The rear tail lights made me think it's earlier then 68!

Big thank you to Martin ( Chewie baker )

Hi all, Just to say a massive thank you to Martin ( Chewie Baker ) who was the most helpful person you could ask for when buying some westy parts from him. A big thank you to Darren and Phil ( Surreysplit ) for bringing the items down to volksworld for me. If any of you guys need a favour or anythin...
