Towed my Pan / Familia with my 64 1500 s/p all over the place. A bit slow on hills but otherwise fine (700kg)

Came back from EBI in Chimay the other day and covered 757 miles with no problem in my 1500 sp stock bus. As said above take it steady and keep on top of servicing

Apparently we can now upload photos directly from the computer (eg not via photobucket) but can not work out how to do it ?? what icon do I click on in reply bit ??

Managed to get new mirror arms / mirrors fitted. Blimey !!!! what a difference they make, I now have much much better rear view visibility and very little vibration compared to the elephants ear mirrors.

I have an Autocraft towbar fitted to my 64 crewcab and its lovely mine is on reduction boxes though.

I would guess towing an early Puck (only 400kg) or trailer tent with a S/A would be fine if you take it steady.
