Restored she will be, in time. The only question is whether I build her into a camper or a mobile coffee shop.
Yes, she had corner windows. There's painted perspex in there now.
Stephan, I've lusted after your high-roofs, but no, thanks. It's a choice between rare and unique.

This funky camper came out of the woodwork a few years ago in South Africa. At the time it was owned by an alcoholic who lived in it. A year or two later it changed hands with the new owner saying he would restore it, but it sat outside on a plot adjoining a large shantytown, slowly getting vandalis...

...has anyone else had problems with the items he's sold? I can't see any posts suggesting so. If not we then have to assume that this is a mix up and he'll come good. It seems unlikely that a recognisable member of the forums would want to cheat someone out of such a small amount of money. Hopeful...

Some time before I got it the bus had also fallen over on its left hand side. It had lots of other issues as well. There are good reasons why I chose to ...
Floris? Willison? Garry C? There are so many. We know who most of them are, if not who they supply.Ady77 wrote:Again I only use one guy and I am surprised you dont know him.
We circulate their names in the community so enthusiasts don't inadvertently sell buses to them.
I would just like to add I found this bus myself and no spotters were involved...in fact I have no spotters as you put it anyway...I work with one guy only in SA, and I am more than sure you guys know who he is...no big secret. B N and Peter? For those of you who don't know, B N is the guy who is o...

The loss of this bus is sorely felt by the local split bus commu...

I was thinking the same when I saw the indentations in the passageways in the first picture fig....... Do you know what type of spider it is in the photo, on the cylinder head? As it came from South Africa, well Plettenberg bay to be precise. :D I'm no arachnologist, but I think it's a bit small fo...
