Re: Martin Walter Dormobile buses

Hey, hi and yes I'm somewhat 12 years late LOL - just one of those searches what brings up an ancient post! Cut to the chase... I think my Dorm'b is the earliest around - it's a May 62 and they only started doing them in late 61 as far as I know. Good to see another metal interior version! Let me kn...

Advice on ali Porsche 944 trailing arms width

Hi Does anyone know if part no's 951.331.514.0 SSW / 951.331.514.4 R and 951.331.513.0 SSW / 951.331.513.4 R(alloy trailing arms from 1987 - I think) fit for the bus 944 brake conversion? I'm getting mixed signals from people selling who specifically say 'for VW Beetle/bus conversion' but friends ad...

Porsche 944 IRS rear brakes - parts choices??

Hi Just been advised that to have Porsche 944 discs on rear of a split to run Fuch's, you don't necessarily have to use the 944 arms, but T1 or T3 will work...? If so, what parts are needed for this conversion, as I assume it'll be easier sourcing T1/3 parts than Porsche? I currently have bay IRS bu...

1960 Westfalia caravan

Wondering if someone who's restored a Westy could give me any advice? I have owned a 310/4 for 18 years now - in need of complete restoration. Not touched it and been dry stored and was considering selling, but now maybe not! Is there such a place who makes repro parts for them like badges, lights, ...

Hi, realise this is a few years after this post, but going to be advertising mine soon - same size as that one, a 61. It's a project though, complete and interior wood is it excellent condition. Needs bare metal respray and only one tiny bit of rot at bottom of the door. PM me if interested.

Re: Any Dormobile Interiors

Just came across this thread, are you still all there...? I have a May 62 Dormobile, fully restored (with a some cheeky mods!). As I understand, they only started making this conversion in late 61. I've only ever seen 63> Dorms. Can send pics if anyone needs more ref or interested (how do you upload...
