Re: 14" stock wheel front disc brake conversion kit choices

Vwbuses used to trade as futbus (google address and phone number). Also check duedil website, futbus had £45k worth of liabilities(debts) according to the website before the company was dissolved/he resigned as director from it. Know someone who has had/is having problems getting stuff returned from...

Interior panel availability?

Have seen plenty of kits for door cards/kick panels etc but cant find anywhere that does (1) The panels for a walk through that cover the metal work on the back of the two front seats (2) The rear interior panels that go in the luggage bay/above engine including corner bits. Just in ply would be fin...

Re: Has anyone ever used these guys…

Two minor points I've read. One was that the chemicals basically gave you an octane rating of lots and heat produced was way over and above the norm. I am not a scientist so don't know. However, there is one thread where a guy was a phd physicist who specialised in atoms etc and wiped the floor with...

Under seal Q

I have got a 67 11 window that I will probably end up parting with before the summer. Imported from Arizona and is rock solid, has had two tiny (1cm?) welds, both are on the front outrigger where it meets the sill, one weld on each side. The bottom has been painted in some sort of zinc looking or ma...

Re: media blasting underneath

I don't think its me scaremongering chap, i am just following advise from HSE etc , maybe you should drop them an email and tell them to wind their respective necks in? I would argue the contrary to "if your worried about your lungs you shouldnt be doing any metal work on old rusty dubs, sanding/wel...

Re: media blasting underneath

If you are using Kiln dried sand you want to be using PROPER BA kit that a 'home' compressor wont be able to support.

Plenty on net about COSHH, HSE etc etc. Not getting involved about silicosis debate , but they are your lungs.
