Re: The most amazing project possibly ever

Glad you have taken a deposit on the bus, but what was with all the cloak & dagger regarding not putting some photos on the forum, for us all to see. Never heard (and not see) anything like it, bloody crazy.

Re: split window panel van in denmark

The van looks like it's in a bit of a state, but you say your not sure of it's worth. Well, if someones as offered you £1200 then I think you should bit his arm off.

What do the ""SO"" codes mean.

Can somebody tell me what “SO” mean’s. I only ask because in some of the threads about buses for sale & the parts section, there are some items which say: SO23 – SO24 – SO33 or a SO67 and a few other SO's. So I was wondering what the code relates to.

Re: Another ebay annoyance.....

Ye! but why put a reserve on at all. why not just start your acution at £500 because that is what you would be happy with if it were sell for that amount, and then if it goes an higher price your in the money. I just don't see the point of having a reserve. It just doesn't make sense. Just my thought...

Bloody ebay - wannabee's

You know I'v been trying to sell my 1966 Split Screen bus for the last few week now. First I put it on ebay for 10 days as an auction sale and I got 274 people watching the outcome, and nobody even put a bid on the bus. So I thought ok, I'll put it up for auction again for 5 days, which just ran out...

Re: Have your say: Why not build your own Split Screen Bus/Van

Just noticed a guy on ebay in Scotland who is selling a complete roof for an early split screen bus. He also say's that the air ducked beneath the front section of the roof is in place. Now what if the chassis number is still in place on the side of the ducking. Question: In theory if you have the c...

Re: Big Question: Why not build your own Split Screen Bus/Van

You if you look on ebay for instance: at all the 60's stuff you could quite easily (if you know how) put one together. But is it really fair to call it a kit, when all somebody as do, is built a split srceen from mostly original parts.

Re: Big Question: Why not build your own Split Screen Bus/Van

Yes now that's what I would say, a kit car - but in the case for the vehicle in general what is the differance between spending £6000 on a wreck and then replacing nearly all the panles on the bus/van including changing the running gear and engine and gear box. So why not just buy all the stuff and ...
