CSP servo rust?

Is this normal after 11 months use? I would not have expected this part to rust at all let alone this much after a few months?

Re: My Resto if anyone interested :-)

Sorry, I know I'm bit hammered, but I love the positivity in this thread. Nothing to do with anything really. I'm hammered coz it's mu birthday, and that doesn't help, but after all the mud slinging in various un named threads, isn't it great to see a thread about the joy of bringing another van ba...

My Resto if anyone interested :-)

Pretty much there now. Thanks to members that have helped me out along the way, special thanks to Jim Merrin. Looking back I did ask some pretty dumb ass questions! Quite a bit of negativity towards pretty splits and of course the 'Samba stigma' but hope you guys like her. Just for the record...

Re: Push button cab door handle mechanism -how's the spring

Yes spring ends go either side of the tab, then screw in latch - end/branch facing towards smaller end of handle

Cargo flooring recommendation.

Hi

I have Dynomat on the cargo area floor and am deciding on what to put on top :? .

Any advise/recommendations - weight issues:

Laminate flooring direct ontop - stuff is quite heavy?

or

Marine / external ply (recommended width?) with vinyl?

Any opinions welcome, cheers

Re: How do I adjust my cab door ?

Same problem with mine, taking out the Monkey Dubs seals helped though - amazing how much displacement new seals can cause.

Vintage cool boxes - security?

Originals are worth a bit so do you guys secure them to roof racks (brackets or something) or just use bungees and hope still there when you return to the car park?

Re: Wiper disengager arm to short?

Yep I need spindles for late bus but that work / with longer connecting arms? Originals? Repros from a certain supplier?

Anyone got a late bus with safaris and wipers that actually work or is this gonna be a fruitless task? Should I just bulk buy some Rain X and have the wipers as decoration?

Re: Wiper disengager arm to short?

I had some CE stainless ones and had to file the edges of the disengager until they fitted. A mixture of crap repro bases and crap repro engagers ;) I bought some proper safari spindles in the end as I couldn't get the wiper blade to touch the screen enough. Hi, thanks for info - do you have a link...
