Timing 009 dizzy and 36 Dells
Hi, Finally got round to uprating a few bits on my 1600 tp engine. Alternator conversion, new coil, 009 dizzy and a pair of 36 dells. Also bolted on a nice vintage speed exhaust. Sounds great! but having issues setting this up correctly. Runs better when warm, but hesitation and lack of power and sp...

Re: What length should headliner bows be?
Thanks I had read that thread but mine simply don't want to be that long....! Perhaps it's because of the insulation on the roof.

What length should headliner bows be?
Jumped in at the deep end this weekend and started to install the headliner in my bus :) I've been carefully measuring everything but before I stick the sides down can anyone confirm how long the headliner bows should be. I've left mine quite tight because I didn't want to cut them too short!!! Side...

Paint supplier Middlesex area
Hi,
I'm after a couple of rattle cans of pearl & silver white just to spray a few small parts not worth putting in a shop.
Can anyone recommend somewhere to get these near Uxbridge / Middlesex area or near Borehamwood.... or on the internet?!
Suggestions welcome! Ta

Formica - possible for a DIYer?
As title really. Been looking at ideas for my interior as now at that stage. :-) Is it possible for a DIYer to use Formica and do a good job of it? If so is there anything particular I would need. I was thinking of using it for the odd drawer/cupboard front, table or possibly the interior panels. Th...

Would be interested in the thoughts on noisekiller as considering this route myself. Looks like an easy install to me....

Re: Front number plate mount/fixing options?
Try some P-Clips, so that the number plate hangs off the towel rail. You can get them with rubber so that you can tighten them nicely and it wont scratch the towel rail.

Make your own fabric headliner?
Hi,
Does anyone know of a pattern or have any ideas about making your own fabric headliner (rather than buying something pre-made)..have you used an old headliner/does anyone have one to pass on..... I'm contemplating buying some perforated vinyl and giving it a go!

Darren's doing mine at the moment - good chap and great work. Very pleased with the progress so far & going into paint soon! Saw yours there last week just going into primer, it's looking really nice, I just don't get how he managed to get the long side looking so straight when I've seen so many th...
