Deluxe trim position

Im about to fit some deluxe trim and just been looking at where it is positioned on the bulge and some are dead central and some seem to be slightly off centre and down a bit. Which was correct placement?

Re: Duluxe trim query

Has any one ever mix both together. What I mean is, on the deluxe trim where the colour insert falls, slice the insert and add mini bungs where the original bungs would be, obviously matching the insert colour to be descrete

Duluxe trim query

So, on a bus without this trilm the bus has 4 rubber bungs to stop the cargo doors hitting the body. So what do the deluxe trim buses have to protect the trim hitting on itself?

Re: Did cab doors ever shut flush?

Its still proud, but as the striker was worn so must be the latch on the door mechanism. And it is, can just the latch on the door mechanism be changed without re...

Re: WW Wheel arches, urgent query!

Ive been sent an unprimed panel, completely different pressing, one has up turned lips from the pressing the other doesnt. The spot welds are different sizes on each. The box was plain, yet the other came in a WW printed box. It just screams that its not a WW panel

Hi, before i go ballistic at a supplier tomorrow, can someone confirm that a left and a right wheel arch would be an identical mirror of each other? And that they always come primered?
Many thanks

Re: Door adjustment

..cos the hinge isnt sitting at a 90 degree angle the plane of the door...more like 120 degrees (or whatever it is) moving both hinges in and out moves the entire door backwards or forwards moving 1...or the other....or both in opposite directions tilts the entire door (depending on the configurati...

Did cab doors ever shut flush?

Nearly every van i see, the cab door nearly always sticks out proud from the body. Ive been working on my cab doors and even with the striker plate fully inward the door is still sticks out 2-3 mm proud? Is there any magical way to sort this issue?

Cargo door latch bars

Hi
Does any one know who/where sell the cargo door latch bars. One of mine seems to have been cut 4mm short? Or are these not available anywhere?

The one ive taken out looks like its been cut sort by 4-5mm. Tip to tip measures 610mm in a straight line, and needs to be 614mm Any one got one hanging around?

Body line question

Ok, im in the middle of replacing the sill under the cargo doors, which after removing the old the new fits perfect. A spirit level runs across the B pillar, both cargo doors and to the C pillar in a pretty straight line. But after the C pillar it flares out, is the correct?
